New online course: Measuring and Valuing Health

Want to learn more about measuring and valuing health?

Over 3 weeks, Dr Katherine Stevens investigates how we can measure and value health focusing on Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) and Quality Adjusted Life Years (QALYs), asking how they’re developed and calculated, and how they’re used by decision makers in practice.

The course will address key issues about the topic; should it be patients or the general population who value our health? Or someone else? And should we value children’s health differently?

The course will give learners from around the world free access to our world leading research and methodological expertise and features case studies of quality of life measures developed here by specialists at the university.

It offers an engaging educational experience through a blend of videos, articles and activities. The course goes live on February 16th and registration is open now. Watch the course trailer, find out more and sign up here.
